• Mortua Dolce Cano - William Cumpiano's blog (and his site)
• Uker of Oz - Another friend of mine that builds some very nice Ukes including Tele Ukes!
• Guild of American Luthiers - If you build and\or repair stringed instruments or are just interested in the subject you should join The Guild.  They publish an outstanding quarterly journal on the craft.
• Official Luthiers Forum - A nice place to ask questions.
• Lutherie Information Website - A very nice site with excellent information for builders of stringed instruments
• Vikwood - An excellent local source (Sheboygan, Wisconsin) of wood for instrument builders.
• Stewart-MacDonald - Outstanding luthier supply company.
• Luthiers Mercantile International, Inc. - All around excellent luthier supply house.
• Kettle Moraine Hardwoods - Another great local source for wood in Wisconsin (locations in Hartford and Caledonia.)  While they don't specialize in instrument materials as such they have a nice selection of hardwoods (including exotics) and great service.
• First Quality Music (FQMS) - All around great music store and instrument builders (especially banjo) supply company.
• Custom Inlay Inc. - Bryan England's custom inlay site.  Beautiful custom inlay as well as standard inlay sets.
• Constantines Wood Center - Wood, tools, finishing supplies.
• Custom Pearl Inlay - Professional Custom inlay and supplies (David Nichols' shop.  David builds instruments in addition to doing inlay work.  He does alot of the custom work for C.F. Martin.)
• Eucalypt Banjos - Some very fine banjos made in Australia from woods native to Australia.  (Also a very nice banjo information site.)

Instrument and Music Shops

• Janet Davis Music Company  -  All around great music store.  Janet has written a number of great Banjo (and DOBRO) instruction books.
• Hatfield Music - All around great music store.  Another great source for Banjo instruction materials.  His Bluegrass Banjo Method One and Two books\CDs are a must have.
• Mandolin Brothers, Ltd - As they say "Center of the Acoustic Universe." Great selection of instruments and always entertaining descriptions.
• Elderly Instruments - Huge music store in Michigan with a nice site.
• Homespun Tapes - A great source for audio and video music instruction.
• The Murphy Method - Great video lessons without tab.
• Turtle Hill Banjo Company - Almost exclusively a banjo shop with a great collection of Pre-War Gibsons.  Some are for sale others are not.  Lots of good pictures of both types.

Bluegrass and Banjo

• SWBMAI - Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association, Inc.
• County Sales - As they say "World's Largest Collection of Bluegrass and Old Time Music".  Next time you need a CD get it from them.
• Acutab Publications - Great source of Bluegrass music, videos, transcriptions, and host of the Acutab email discussion list.
• Banjo Newsletter - If you play banjo and have a mailbox this magazine should be in it each month!
• Bluegrass Unlimited - If you love bluegrass and have a mailbox this magazine should be in it each month!
• Greg Earnest's Pre-War Gibson site - A good pre-war Gibson site.
• Phillip Mann's Banjo Tab Collection and Bluegrass Information Site - Great collection of banjo tab and other banjo\bluegrass information.
• The Banjo Hangout - Another collection of banjo tab.
